Casey joined the Animal Justice Party two years ago after a conversation with Ivan Davis at an AJP stall but has been passionate about animals for much longer. Casey is non-binary, with they/them pronouns, and has been vegan for a few years - with only the regret of not doing so sooner. They have a Zoology degree and a Sustainable Living degree, and they are also currently studying Protected Area Planning at UTAS.

Their passions outside of the committee are insects, tattoos, gaming, and hitting the gym. Casey has one beautiful rescue cat, and loves to visit their parents' rural property, where there are friendly goats, chickens, peacocks and one gorgeous kelpie.
