Keone Martin for Braddon
Keone is excited to compete for the seat of Braddon, representing the AJP. This is his inaugural election and he is looking forward to engaging with residents of the North West to produce positive outcomes.
Mr Martin is an avid nature enthusiast with several Abels already conquered since moving to Devonport late in 2020. He was raised in a country town in the Yarra Valley, Victoria. Having spent a decade living in cities he jumped on the opportunity to return to his rural roots when his industry started to adopt more remote work. Since arriving in Devonport, he has been excited to interact with the local communities and build more relationships with his neighbours.
Keone was born and raised as a vegetarian and has always believed that animals and nature should be protected and lived with in harmony rather than in contention. He was drawn to the AJP as an opportunity to act on these core beliefs in a political environment to effect change. “For humans to continue to thrive, we need to rethink how we handle traditional agriculture to minimise the harm we are causing through climate change and over-reliance on antibiotics in farming.”
Keone believes that these changes need to be brought about not just for future generations but for people already alive today and he looks forward to the opportunity to see it done.

Donate to get Keone elected!
Contesting elections is a costly exercise - it's a $2000 fee per candidate to get on the ballot paper and then there are advertising and printing costs! We estimate it will cost us a minimum of $10k to cover candidate fees, advertising and printing for Keone's campaign. We'd love to double or triple that to give him the best chance of being elected to represent Animal Justice Party.
Can you chip in to cover some of the costs?
