Alison Baker for Bass

Alison Baker

Alison is proud to support the AJP as they are a much needed voice for all animals. Alison ran as a candidate for AJP in 2016. She believes freedom to enjoy our lives is so important, and this should extend to all animals (not just domestic pets). Alison first lived on the West Coast of Tasmania until the age of 3 and has lived in Launceston since then. She currently works at a primary school, has previously run her own business and worked as an accountant. Alison volunteers at FreeHearts Animal Sanctuary, has been vegan for over six years and enjoys playing hockey and CrossFit.

Donate to get Alison elected!

Contesting elections is a costly exercise - it's a $2000 fee per candidate to get on the ballot paper and then there are advertising and printing costs! We estimate it will cost us a minimum of $10k to cover candidate fees, advertising and printing for Alison's campaign. We'd love to double or triple that to give her the best chance of being elected to represent the Animal Justice Party.

Can you chip in to cover some of the costs?
